ARRKANI

Arrkani characters are quite elusive, choosing to live in small packs or alone in the deepest and most overgrown forests of the world where they can live in peace, undisturbed by the other races. Arrkani are the only race known to have an innate ability to manipulate the Arcanic Weave and use magic. They love eclusion, poetry, music, lore and magical arts. Arrkani are seldom, if ever, found in human settlements. Indeed, the need to visit such a horrible place as a city, must be great indeed to pull one of these naturalists away from the wilderness. When danger threatens their woodland homes, Arrkani reveal a more martial side, demonstrating skill with sword, bow, and battle strategy. The Arrkani loathe Kish and will usually attempt to kill them on sight in open ground. The Arrkani do recognize that the Tzysk are their distant brothers and while they do not commonly associate, there is a deep fondness for one another.

They are thin and graceful creatures, with Arrkani men marginally taller and heavier than Arrkani women. They tend to be fair-skinned and light-haired, with deep green eyes. They have no facial or body hair.

EUUM

The Euum of the Pennorra Reaches, are colossal beings, averaging a staggering twelve feet in height. Their robust build and heavily muscled frames make them formidable physical specimens, yet their intellectual capacity is limited, resembling that of stereotypical cavemen. Despite their primitive technological level, the Euum compensate for their lack of sophistication with their inherent ferocity and unrestrained aggression.

The Euum have tough, weathered skin that adapts to the harsh conditions of the mountainous terrain where they dwell. Their skin color varies, but it tends to be earthy tones, blending with the natural environment. Typically adorned with wild, unkempt hair, the Euum giants' hair colors range from dark browns to greys. Their hair adds to their untamed appearance, reflecting their primal nature. They tend to wear minimal clothing, usually made from animal hides or rough fabrics. They may adorn themselves with crude jewelry or markings, reflecting their tribal affiliations.

Living in scattered tribes across the Pennorra Reaches, these giants coexist with a simplicity that contrasts sharply with the more intricate societies of Morra. They are oblivious to the desires for conquest and power that drive the Kish and the Sorlamirians, focusing instead on their basic, day-to-day existence in the lofty peaks.

KISH

Kish characters are the most commonly seen non-human race of Morra. They are brutal creatures with a savage ferocity and feral instincts. The creation of the Kish was for the sole purpose to hunt down and kill their natural enemy, the Arrkani.  All Kish have a deepset hatred of the Arrkani and will attempt to kill them on sight, regardless of consequences. Kish are sensitive to the sunlight and are nocturnal creatures, and prefer to hunt at night. They have strong, animal-like senses and are able to track prey by scent. Kish have large skulls, deepset eyes and strong jaws holding sharp teeth and tusks. They are exclusively flesh-eaters, often eating other fallen Kish under the belief that they will gain the strength of their fallen brothers. Kish are feared and hated by most human races, other than the Kokuathuans who do interact and ally with them.

Kish have much shorter life spans than humans but grow rapidly, most being fully grown within a year of birth, and not normally living past twenty years. There are distinct sub-species of Kish. Ologi, Lomdum, Buramog, Horknuth.

Ologi-Kish, also known as Goblins, are smaller and weaker than the other Kish, averaging three and a half feet in height, with grey skin. Ologi are often slaves to the bigger Kish, and tend to avoid them as much as possible, preferring not to live in caves, but in huts and shelters or tree houses. Ologi grow faster than any other Kish, but are often killed more than any other Kish because of their weaker status.

Buramog-Kish, also known as Red Orcs, average about six feet tall, and are the second largest of the Kish. Very similar to the Lumdum in terms of culture and habits, they tend to grow slower however, but are the most intelligent of the Kish, and can often be found as the leaders of the various tribes.

MORDECAN

In the vast expanse of the Sanguine Sea, encircling the Bloodstone Mountains in western Sorlamir, the Mordecan tribes, collectively referred to as a "harras," have established their dwellings in this grassy landscape. At the helm of each harras stands a ruler known as the Khan, whose authority extends over the entire tribe. The primary consort of the Khan, holding a position of significance, is titled the Khes.

Within the harras, the formidable warrior forces are divided into two distinctive segments: the Blood Runners and the Blood Riders. The Blood Runners, serving as the peasantry, navigate the sea on foot. In contrast, the elite Blood Riders are mounted on horseback, and traverse the plains with unparalleled speed, launching daring strikes deep into neighboring territories. Renowned for their effectiveness as marauders, the Blood Riders inspire fear and trepidation among those unfortunate enough to be their targets, seeking to secure resources, wealth, and captives through their ruthless exploits. They are a tight-knit community of skilled horse riders, expert herdsmen, and fearsome warriors, who have honed their craft over generations of living in harmony with the land and their beloved animals.

Their physical characteristics, such as red-brown skin and almond-shaped eyes, are well-suited to the grassy landscapes they traverse. Mordecan men adorn themselves with long moustaches, indicative of their lineage, while intricate tattoos signify tribal affiliations. In urban settings, they may attire themselves in fine silks and perfumes, yet in the Sanguine Sea, they don hide armor and carry scimitars, attuned to the demands of their nomadic existence. Culinary preferences among the Mordecan are marked by a fondness for mutton, enjoyed in feasts accompanied by kumis, a traditional fermented mare's milk.

The Tzysk are miners, smiths, and warriors who seldom venture to the surface world. The Tzysk loathe the Kish, who share their subterranean world, and will usually attempt to kill them on sight.
