Dark Brethren

The Dark Brethren are a shadowy and enigmatic group, known across Sorlamir for their fanatical devotion to the demon Kokuathu. Their members are said to practice forbidden rites and dark rituals in secret, though little is known about their inner workings or the full extent of their worship. The cult is highly secretive, with its adherents rarely seen in public, leading many to speculate about the true nature of their beliefs and actions. What is known, however, is that they are seen as an ominous presence, often associated with the darker corners of society, where they are rumored to influence criminal organizations and manipulate the weak-minded into doing their bidding. Many common folk speak of the Dark Brethren in hushed tones, treating them as little more than a story whispered around campfires, a tale of men and women who have sold their souls to an evil force in exchange for power, wealth, or knowledge.

Those who have dared speak too loudly about them or who have ventured too close to their secretive gatherings are said to have vanished without a trace. The cult's followers are whispered to wear dark robes adorned with a symbol that few outside the group can recognize, a mark said to denote their connection to Kokuathu. Despite the fears surrounding them, the Dark Brethren continue to operate from the shadows, their true motivations hidden beneath layers of mystery and fear.
